Singapore River flows forever in my heart

O Singapore River you have been flowing since long time ago

From the streams from the city to the sea
Thats what my papa said to me
When first landed on the shore of Singapore
Take the first corner by the P.O after the Cavenagh bridge
Papa will be waiting on within reavh
Oh the bumboat and the reach land after a long journey
Flowing downtown bring the sin of the city
While I wait on the steps by the PO bring my love to me
Just like my heart will begin to best as one true love

Right from uptown to the heart of the city bring lifeblood to the city

Your ebb and flow like my heartbeat my soul

Giving life  to the streams and flow to the sea

The rythmn the pulse the heart of the City strongly

From the stream and past the quay in the City to the 

It cleans the streams endlessly

Pass the PO that collect the mail
And sent it away to the sailing ship

When Raffles first step down in the 1819.
On the beach stood a statue
Making its mark in history

Never dream it goes a centennial hence
