Two men gone to gallow for drug trafficking in Singapore

A Nigerian drug trafficker was executed on Friday (18 November) after his appeal was rejected..
   He was convicted of trafficking in 2.6kg of cannabis and sentenced to death on 30 December 2008.

A Malaysian Davendran Supramaniam, were also sent to the gallows on Friday.The 31-year-old was convicted of importing 83.36g of diamorphine into Singapore and sentenced to death in July 2014.
The Misuse of Drugs Act  (MDA ) provides for the death penalty if the amount of cannabis trafficked is 500g or more.

Malacca new port to Eclipse Singapore in future?

The One Belt Silk include building a new Port in Malacca in the future. Due to the new pivot by the country to Beijing, it look like the future of Singapore is not good. The planned canal of Isthmus of Kra bisecting Thailand to shortcut across to South China Sea would not help much, it fact it would bisect Siamland into North and South. It would create a new state of  Patani, another breakaway province, which does not makes much historical sense. Does it mean the end of Port of Singapore or it become a Naval Base onward for Nanyang Hai.? With the new Trump as Wonderkind President of the USA now, the world could be a safer place or worse. One can only hope it will be for the good of the world. Expect the unexpected. Do the unthinkable and forget about being nice. In 2017, is a start of a new Decade.No one can safely predict what will happen next. Will protectionism rule the day in USA, and tariff for non local products. Will the interest rate rise from the present to 4 % or more and therefore attracts demand worldwide and corresponding rise in their local currency ?

Yet another so called drug arrest in Bali, another Aussie teenager held .

IT WAS the moment when a young Australian Jamie Murphy’s life changed briefly. It  was all caught on CCTV released today.The 18-year-old from Perth, who arrived in Bali on Sunday, was arrested outside the Sky Garden nightclub in Kuta by security and handed over to a nearby police post on Monday night. He was allegedly found with a small plastic bag of white powder, later analysed to be paracetamol. Luckily he was sold a dud packet ,suspected. He was badly handled by security staff at a nightclub in the the devilish precinct of Kuta early Tuesday.
How does the white powder got inside his bumbag ?If it is planted, it is probably a conspiracy. We would never know. The black Nigerian guy a few months back probably claims the same thing ,said his human rights lawyer. He was later facilitated to the firing squad. Which ever way it goes,all should be aware and beware of such scam or worse deadly games. It was the fifth  person 'caught' after Desmond the Aircrew allegedly found items in his cargo bags during custom check in Bali.
