On my return to the sandy shore Reminds me that I shall never leave

Each grain of sands on my feet
shall stood me up in every way
And on this land shall make our home for my generation hence
Let my child grows up wise and old
On the Sunny Island of Singapore
We shall toil the land make a road where non before reach the sky above beyond the blues
Lead us  beyond the peacefull isle my beloved Isle my Paradise
Mark our place in the world our generation be seen forever more
Safe from the stormy seas this part I will shelter safe from the storm waves

My country shall forever be
I shall sing my heart beat the flag
That best represent my self 

We have the hearts the will and hands on we can make
A great and better nation
To defend our land and child grow old
A nation of peace come a island paradise
Only when ills intent try to break fatherland all hands to defend
The seas below the sky above the land shall be fortress Singapore
And forward looking in all we do
