On a full August moonlight Night
On this day was declared Singapore
Heaven shines  brightly and by day
The Parade of the Year is here
And together we again celebrate
You call it Singapore, we call it home
You come  to a long way since 1819
Raised here my motherland I was born to defend
Alas our founding Father have left we shall continue
The values He Made the drives the thirst
That makes us leap from third to first
He leads and visualised much for the Nation
With Mind and Body, Heart and Soul
Truly we can feel, One can say Greatness
We shall Honour Him not by Sadness
But continue the values Espoused
Hear us out and say out aloud
For we shall fight always beyond the cloud
For justice and equality never ending war
For progress for Nation ,prosperity for us all
For the  Great Nation of Singapore
Proven be number one in what we will do
Chosen for signing Peace in Capella
Once a back island a pirate lair
And constantly be at no 1 no less
Pick up and rise again after a fall
Put our hearts our souls  together yes we can
Do it with your heart all give a little bit more
Do it for our country, for Singapore
Singaporean all together to the Core
Make it a Fortress,Fortress Singapore
And drop all in your hand young men
When the time comes to defend,
Man the fort, raise the Flag ,head to the Arm
Grab the SAR21, power up the Laser Sight
Target towards the enemy the red light
And never shall surrender since 1945
Not afraid of the future, far ahead we scan
And ride the tide into the Millennium
Ahead without MM, we shall face Fate
A Nation in much better way aim to be first
To progress in the race we fight to win
In the Human Race,winning friends
Doing rights by our values and culture
Day by day making it better then, faster
Refreshed and new blood to set the pace
Into the race Singapore ,against the best
Taking bold steps and we hold our place
Blessed are we to be a tropical Isle
Working and living ,breathing Paradise
Sunshine always ,a hop away from the West
Also a skip down south, or a slow boat from the East
Welcome to the Isle of Plenty, Peace,Serenity
Roll up the sleeve,put on the thinking cap
Ride into the Millenium together
Soldier,Citizens we are one
Take our seat in the United Nation
Never be conquered again since the last War
Assert our rights our territory
Defended by hearts body and souls
And finally our bloods to the soil
So that the future all can be free
Truly a Singaporean its for me
Doing what with courage and bravery
One can live and old not a shot fired
A slow walk in the moonlight night
By a Singapore River ,unbelievable sight
With our  hands ,create the best we can
Lead us straight and lead us far,further
With the best minds ,strength of the beast
Spirit of the Lion inside ,people of Singapore
In peace and in war, the five hands delivers
Defended with our SAR, by our young men
Never again the history of 1942 will we surrender
Our Defence strong and bold the Air above
The land below , seas to shore in our control
In our sight, Citizen Soldiers ready to man the fort
In the defence of the realm to the last man
As our navy glides silently under the sea
Ensure our trade link alway flow freely
We have a a common goal together united
Together tenfold stronger then one
Show the  future ahead making roads
when there were none, uphill and to the top
And smooth the path ,to ride into the millennium
Make a path into the future boldly
Learning from history, we are master of the land
We will not be cowed nor bow to conquerer
This is our Land call Singapore
Nor loss our head, body and soul
Look up in the sky, the reason why
The roars That's protected to heaven high
From north to south ,east to West
Locked on our sight, aim and targeted
Defending Singapore, sleep well sleep tight
Our parents have come to the best
To come ashore from journey far
To come to better place, safer, sound
The human race ,there no better place
To build your home and family here
We came from East and West all over
All languages we understand and comprehend
Let's work the land ,get the problems behind
With our spirit and drive, solutions arise
From morning time to end of day the answer
Shall come our way, our cause is just
Defender of the land its a sacred job for us
Always got a plan to solve ,non cannot  be resolve
Because we always blessed from the start
To build a better place tomorrow
Every step we do ,its two steps for more
From a village we build a city Make
It our paradise on earth, long live SG
Let the crescent moonlight shine on us
And the stars to mark our guide
Put our soul inside, our body toils
Put our heads together, and hearts
We can achieve ,much much more
Little by little, we shall not stop
The quest is near,the answer close at hand
It will be done none that cannot
With minds and men, solutions will come
We will build up, and over the seas,
Underground and higher if can be
With skills and wills ,the best of us
Build together ,the city we call O Singapore
That's what we stand for
My land my country my pledge
Doing what we do together more
